Greenville, SC (January 28, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that two people died as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Greenville County. Calls for assistance came in at approximately 1:30 p.m. on January 27 regarding a collision on Wade Hampton Boulevard.
According to official reports, a collision between a 2019 Kia Stinger and a 2012 Ford Escape occurred on the roadway near Shady Lane during the afternoon hours. The impact of the crash sent the Ford off the side of the roadway. The driver of the Kia was transported to a hospital in the area for medical care. The driver and passenger in the Ford were both fatally injured. The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
