Forty-six-year-old Nikki Anne Eddy has been arrested following a fatal Highway 90 motorcycle crash that occurred on September 3.
The accident occurred on Highway 90 close to North Myrtle Beach around 8:10 p.m.
Eddy is facing a charge of causing death by driving under the influence.
It is alleged that she was driving a Nissan sedan eastbound on the highway when the vehicle went over the centerline and collided with a westbound Harley-Davidson.
One person was ejected from the car and the motorcycle caught fire.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as 72-year-old Michael Allen of Franklin, N.J. He was residing in Galivants Ferry.
Eddy was placed in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on September 4 and released the next day on a $30,000 bond for causing the Highway 90 motorcycle crash.
