Moore Co., NC (November 4, 2023) – The North Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that two lives were lost as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Thursday in Moore County.
Calls for help were received on November 2 regarding a crash on North Carolina State Highway 24/27.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 30-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on the highway when the vehicle collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer near McDuffie Road. One additional vehicle was also involved in the accident.
The man and his passenger, a 25-year-old female, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The two victims were pronounced dead on site. No other injuries were reported due to this collision.
The crash is currently being investigated.
