Winston-Salem, NC (February 18, 2024) – The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that 51-year-old Bryan Tucker lost his life in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday in Salem. At around 3:35 p.m., authorities were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 40.
According to reports, a vehicle was heading east on Interstate 40 when it came to a stop due to a crash near mile marker 196. The driver exited their vehicle and attempted to cross the road to provide assistance. While crossing, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The victim, identified as Tucker, was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
