Beaufort Co., SC (December 30, 2023) – Two people were fatally wounded as a result of an automobile accident that occurred early Saturday morning in Beaufort County. The crash was reported to authorities just before two a.m. on December 30.
Reports provided by the South Carolina Highway Patrol indicate that a vehicle collision occurred on the westbound side of South Carolina Highway 170. The force of the crash caused one of the vehicles to go off the roadway near Red Bluff Road and collided with a tree. The driver and passenger of the vehicle both suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
