Berkeley Co., SC (June 4, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that 30-year-old Kelli Johnson lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Sunday morning, June 2. The collision occurred at around 1:55 a.m.
Police reports indicate that a 2020 Hyundai SUV was traveling east on US Highway 52. As the vehicle neared the intersection with Caprice Lane, a 2014 Dodge SUV traveling westbound crossed over the center line and collided with the eastbound Hyundai head-on. Johnson was severely hurt in the crash. She was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. No other victims involved in the crash sustained injuries. At this time, the collision is being investigated.
