Bryan Co., GA (March 10, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday claimed one person’s life while sending another victim to an area hospital with injuries. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 8, the Georgia State Patrol was called to the scene of an automobile accident on US Highway 280 near Carroll Crossing Road.
Official reports indicate that a collision involving an SUV and an unknown number of vehicles took place at the intersection. A man involved in the accident was pronounced deceased at the scene from his injuries. A woman involved in the accident was injured. She was transported to Memorial Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
