Campobello, SC (July 12, 2024) – Authorities in Spartanburg County have identified the cyclist killed in the motor vehicle accident in the Campobello area as 78-year-old Carol Jean Vosburgh.
Official reports indicate that a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on East Frontage Road near Kelsey Mill Road on Wednesday morning, July 10. Authorities rushed to the scene of the crash to assist. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities determined that the cyclist was rear-ended by a Buick sedan. The cyclist was rushed to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where she passed away from her injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
