Charleston, SC (May 1, 2024) – The two women who lost their lives on Sunday in the pedestrian accident reported in Charleston have been identified by authorities. The incident took place at around 8:30 a.m. on April 28.
Official reports indicate that two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Morrison Drive. Authorities arrived at the scene and located both of the victims unresponsive on the side of the road. The victims were subsequently pronounced deceased by authorities. The individuals were identified as 20-year-old Arianna Gamber and 20-year-old Lizzy Zito. Authorities are currently working to determine the identity of the at-fault driver. Investigations are ongoing by the Charleston Police Department.
