Charlotte, NC (February 22, 2024) – A slip and fall accident reported in the Charlotte area claimed one person’s life. The victim was identified as Dan Wade. The incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on February 20.

Authorities confirmed that the co-owner of the Wooden Robot Brewery was involved in a slip-and-fall accident while on the job. Further investigations determined that he fell from a balcony or a roof at the location, resulting in fatal injuries. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim, identified as Dan Wade, deceased. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
