Columbia, SC (March 17, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident reported in the Columbia area on Saturday evening claimed the life of the pedestrian. The accident was reported at approximately 8:50 p.m. on March 16.
Official reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a truck on White Pond Road. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was subsequently struck by a second vehicle on the roadway. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide assistance. However, the pedestrian died from their injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
