Doraville, GA (April 13, 2024) – Two people have lost their lives due to a motor vehicle collision reported on Friday morning in DeKalb County. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene of the accident and located the involved vehicles on Buford Highway.
According to official reports, a Mazda was traveling in the 5200 block of the highway when it collided head-on with the Chevrolet Silverado near Interstate 285. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident. Two people in the Mazda were fatally injured. The victims were pronounced deceased on site. Two additional people in the Mazda and the driver of the Silverado were all injured. At least two of the victims were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
