Elbert Co., GA (July 6, 2024) – The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed that 23-year-old Keegan Polnaszek has died as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in Elbert County on Wednesday evening, July 3. Authorities were informed of the collision at around 5:40 p.m.
Official reports indicate that a black 2003 Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on Nick Ville Road. For unknown reasons, he became involved in a collision near Knotts Landing Drive. The vehicle went off the roadway and collided with a tree after overturning multiple times. A passenger in the car, identified as Polnaszek, was fatally injured and pronounced dead while at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Aiden Polnaszek, was rushed to Piedmont Athens Regional for emergency treatment. Investigations into the accident are underway.
