Fayetteville, GA (July 12, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Fayetteville area claimed one man’s life. The accident took place on July 4.
Official reports indicate that 35-year-old William Grigsby was struck by a vehicle while walking on Stonewall Avenue West near Heritage Parkway at around 10:45 p.m. Grigsby sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to Piedmont Fayette Hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities confirmed that he passed away from his injuries on July 6. At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
