Greenville Co., SC (July 5, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol has confirmed that 53-year-old Kevin James Calvert lost his life as a result of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Thursday morning, July 4. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 3:30 a.m.
Official reports show that Calvert was walking in the area of White Horse Road and Anderson Road during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the pedestrian. Calvert was severely injured in the accident. He was rushed to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries in the accident. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
