Habersham Co., GA (March 20, 2024) – A motorcyclist lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Habersham County on Monday morning, March 18. The Georgia State Patrol was called to the site of the crash at around 10:30 a.m.
According to official reports, 23-year-old Wyatt Andrew Turner was driving a 2006 Jeep Wrangler on US Highway 441. As his vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Hollywood Hills Road, it collided with a 2021 BMW R 1250 GS motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 70-year-old Donald Miller Lewis, was severely hurt in the crash. He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. At this time, the Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
