Lexington, SC (March 20, 2024) – The Lexington County coroner’s office confirmed that 40-year-old Brett Sterling Lamb lost his life as a result of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Monday evening, March 18. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 8:20 p.m.
According to official reports, Lamb was walking along US Highway 321, Charleston Highway, during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a northbound vehicle in the 2400 block of the roadway. Authorities rushed to the scene and immediately secured the road. Despite medical efforts, Lamb passed away from his injuries while at the scene. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
