Loganville, GA (March 3, 2024) – The Walton County city officials confirmed that 70-year-old Bonnie Nightingale and 79-year-old Geraldine Cribb died as a result of a fatal fire incident that occurred in Loganville.
Preliminary reports show that at approximately 1:23 a.m. on February 26, a fire occurred in an apartment located in the Mews Apartment complex on Meadows Drive. Authorities arrived at the scene and went to work immediately to battle the blaze. Heavy smoke was seen coming out of multiple apartments. Firefighters worked aggressively to take control of the situation. Upon entering the structure, authorities located two victims. The victims, identified as Cribb and Nightingale, were pronounced deceased from their injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
