Savannah, GA (May 26, 2024) – The Savannah Police Department confirmed that 22-year-old Bayli Lake lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Savannah area on Wednesday evening, May 22.
Police reports indicate that just after 11:00 p.m., Lake was driving a bicycle on Norwood Avenue while heading home from work. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle near Fox Chase Road. Lake was severely hurt as a result of the accident. Despite medical efforts, she ended up passing away as a result of her injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of this crash. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway by the Georgia State Patrol and the Chatham County Police Department.
