Raleigh, NC (November 14, 2023) – A fatal collision reported in the Raleigh area claimed the lives of two victims.
On Saturday, November 11, the North Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile collision that occurred on Interstate 40.
According to reports, 35-year-old Gregory Porter Jr. was driving a Lexus sedan west along Interstate 40 when his vehicle became involved in a collision near the exit for Harrison Avenue with a Subaru Legacy Outback.
The impact of the crash caused the Lexus to go off the roadway, strike a guardrail, strike a tree line, and overturn.
Porter and his passenger, 30-year-old Julian Turner, both sustained fatal injuries. The two victims were pronounced dead on site. The driver of the Subaru was treated for injuries.
The incident is currently being investigated.
