NC 160 begins at the end of SC 160, near Tega Cay, South Carolina. The North Carolina state highway then travels north and eventually reaches southwest Charlotte. In this city, the highway becomes Steele Creek Road up until the greater airport area. It goes on to cross over Billy Graham Parkway and Bill Lee Freeway.
