Greene County, NC (October 20, 2023) – A fatal truck accident was reported on Tuesday evening in Greene County that claimed one person’s life.
At around 7:30 p.m. on October 17, troopers with the North Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major crash on Arba Jason Road.
Reporting officers state that a tractor-trailer and a Honda van collided on the westbound side of the roadway. The incident caused disruptions throughout the area of North Carolina 903.
The driver of the van, who has not been identified to the public, was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased on site. The crash is actively being investigated by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
