Worth County, GA (October 21, 2023) – A fatal automobile accident reported in Worth County claimed one person’s life on Friday afternoon, October 20.
At around 3:15 p.m., the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident in the Worthy Manor subdivision.
According to authorities, a 53-year-old man was involved in a scooter accident in the 5000 block of Worthy Street. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to close a portion of the roadway while assisting.
The Worth County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased from his injuries.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
