Catoosa Co., GA (November 1, 2023) – A woman from Chattanooga, Tennessee, lost her life as a result of a fatal crash that occurred on Monday in Catoosa County.
On October 30, authorities were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash on Graysville Road.
According to preliminary investigations from the Georgia State Patrol, a black 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a silver 2009 Chevrolet Impala collided on the roadway just north of Gentry Road.
The head-on collision left both vehicles with severe damage after it sent them both off the side of the roadway.
52-year-old Lisa Renee Headrick of Chattanooga was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced dead on site.
The driver of the Dodge, a 23-year-old, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The incident is being investigated.
