Dillon Co., SC (November 10, 2023) – A fatal accident reported on Thursday evening in Dillon County claimed the lives of two victims.
At around 11:00 p.m. on November 9, troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol were called to the scene of a crash on Highway 301.
According to reports, a sedan was traveling westbound on East Country Club Road. As the vehicle attempted to cross over Highway 301, it collided with a northbound 2023 Dodge pickup truck.
The driver and passenger in the sedan were both fatally injured. The two victims died at the scene. Two additional victims were injured and transported by helicopter to a local medical facility.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
