Augusta, GA (November 19, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident reported in Richmond County. Reports provided by the Augusta Police Department show that a collision took place on Deans Bridge Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. on November 17.
Crash investigations show that a commercial truck was involved in the collision, which blocked the 3900 block of the roadway during the early morning hours. The force of the collision caused one vehicle to go off the roadway. One person involved in the accident, identified as 48-year-old Braun Pruitt of Aiken, South Carolina, was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased on site. The crash is being investigated at this time.
