Lincoln Co., NC (December 18, 2023) – A crash reported in Lincoln County on Sunday evening claimed the life of 35-year-old Brooke Morgan White. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was notified of the collision just before 10:00 p.m. on December 17.
According to reports, a 2007 Ford Fusion was traveling in the area of Bill Ledford Road and Cat Square Road when it became involved in a collision. As a result of the wreck, the vehicle went off the side of the roadway and ran into a ditch, causing severe damage to the vehicle. One woman involved in the accident, identified as White, sustained fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding troopers. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
