Bailey, NC (December 28, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Friday morning in Nash County. Calls for help came in at approximately two a.m. on December 22.
According to reports provided by the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a vehicle collision occurred on US Highway 264 E. The incident prompted officials to close down the roadway near mile marker 29. One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased while on site. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
