Iredell Co., NC (December 31, 2023) – A fatal plane accident reported in Iredell County claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred at around 12:15 p.m. on December 31.
According to reports provided by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a single-engine plane was involved in a collision in the area near Adrian Lane during the afternoon hours. The incident prompted authorities to close down the area as they provided assistance. Authorities determined that Randy Mysliviec was attempting to land his plane at Lake Norman Airport when he became involved in a collision. Mysliviec was severely hurt in the accident. He was rushed to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment. Authorities confirmed that he passed away after arriving. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
