Guilford Co., NC (January 13, 2024) – The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that 42-year-old Lorena Valadez Pacheco, of Greensboro, North Carolina, lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Guilford County.
The accident was reported at around 4:15 p.m. on January 11. Reports from Highway Patrol show that a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by 49-year-old Eric Steve Osborne was traveling southbound on US Highway 29 when it collided with a 2007 Honda Accord, which was driven by 42-year-old Lorena Valadez Pacheco. Troopers confirmed that Osborne failed to stop at a red light at an intersection before striking the vehicle. Pacheco was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
