Troup Co., GA (January 15, 2024) – The Georgia State Patrol identified 45-year-old Lakesia Tucker of LaGrange, Georgia, as the woman who sustained fatal injuries as a result of the automobile accident reported on Thursday morning in Troup County. The crash took place at approximately 6:40 a.m. on January 11.
Reports provided by Georgia State Patrol show that a GMC Yukon collided with a Honda Pilot on West Point Road near Lambert Road. The head-on collision caused severe damage to both of the vehicles involved. The driver of the Honda, identified as Tucker, sustained fatal injuries and died while at the scene. The GMC driver, Eddie Story, was transported to Columbus Midtown Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. Investigations into the crash are ongoing by the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
