Charlotte, NC (January 16, 2024) – On January 14, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene of a fatal accident that took place during the evening hours. At around nine p.m., calls for help were received regarding an incident on Interstate 77.
According to official reports, a 2020 Dodge Challenger was traveling on the interstate when he became involved in a collision near Carowinds Boulevard. One person involved in the accident, identified as 18-year-old Ramon Zavari Miller, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by authorities after being ejected from the vehicle. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
