Aiken Co., SC (January 20, 2024) – A 22-year-old man lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Aiken County on Tuesday evening, January 17. The crash was reported to authorities at around 530 p.m.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2014 Ford Mustang was heading southbound on Crystal Springs Road when it became involved in a collision. As a result of the crash, the Ford overturned and collided with a tree. One person involved in the accident, identified as Stephone Reed, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
