Oconee Co., SC (January 24, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that on January 22, one person died as a result of the injuries they suffered in a moped accident early this month.
According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident involving a Bintelli moped occurred on Coffee Road in the area near Ridley Road. The moped driver was riding on their vehicle when they experienced a mechanical failure and became involved in a collision. The driver was rushed to an area hospital, where they later passed away from their injuries. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
