Clinton, NC (January 26, 2024) – The North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed that 24-year-old Jarod Michael Parker lost his life as a result of a crash that occurred in Sampson County. The accident took place at around 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24.
According to official reports, a 2018 Honda Accord was traveling in the area of West Main Street and Overland Road when it became involved in a collision. As a result, the vehicle went off the roadway and collided with a tree before catching fire. One person involved in the crash was fatally injured. The victim was identified as Parker. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
