Lexington Co., SC (January 27, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday evening outside of Irmo claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on January 26.
According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2020 Yamaha motorcycle was heading westbound on the roadway when it became involved in a collision. As a result, the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and collided with a guard rail. The motorcyclist was fatally injured in the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
