Beech Island, SC (January 28, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Beech Island claimed the lives of two individuals on Saturday evening, January 27. The South Carolina Highway Patrol was notified of the crash at approximately 4:10 p.m.
According to area law enforcement, a Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Williston Road. At the same time, and SUV was traveling westbound on the same roadway. For reasons unknown, the two vehicles collided in the area near Camelia Drive. The Aiken County coroner’s office confirmed that two people died as a result of the accident. The victims were identified as 52-year-old Angela Hancock and 46-year-old Eric Sargent. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
