Albany, GA (February 5, 2024) – The Albany Police Department confirmed that a man lost his life as a result of a fatal collision that took place on Saturday evening in Albany. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 11:20 p.m. on February 3.
According to official reports, a motorcycle accident took place on West Gordon Avenue in the area near West Waddell Avenue. The collision prompted authorities to close down the roadway as they assisted at the scene. One person involved in the accident, identified as 55-year-old Charles Bagley Jr., suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. One additional person involved in the crash, 43-year-old Joyce Holland, was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
