Harnett Co., GA (February 6, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Harnett County on Sunday evening claimed one person’s life. Calls for assistance came into the Georgia State Patrol at approximately 11:00 p.m. on February 4.
According to law enforcement, a collision took place on the northbound side of Interstate 95 during the evening hours. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and blocked off the roadway near exit 70. One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased by authorities. Authorities remained at the scene until approximately 2:00 a.m. on February 5 as they worked to clear the road. Investigations into the accident are currently underway.
