Spartanburg, SC (February 12, 2024) – Emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening and claimed one person’s life. The accident took place just after 7:20 p.m. on February 10.
Law enforcement reports indicate that a 2011 Nissan sedan was traveling on Red Canyon Drive during the evening hours. As the vehicle attempted to make a westbound turn onto East Blackstock Road, it collided with a 2013 BMW SUV. A passenger in the Nissan was fatally injured. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
