Marietta, GA (February 29, 2024) – A man lost his life as a result of a fatal accident reported early Wednesday morning, February 28. The Marietta Police Department was dispatched to the scene of the accident at around 4:00 a.m.
According to law enforcement reports, a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 75 during the early morning hours. The incident prompted the closure of the highway between Canton Road and North Marietta Parkway. The pedestrian was severely injured as a result of the crash.
