Spartanburg Co., SC (March 25, 2024) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office confirmed that 50-year-old Roland Van Crocker lost his life as a result of the motorcycle accident reported on Saturday in Spartanburg County. The accident occurred at around 4:43 p.m. on March 16.
According to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was traveling west on US Highway 176. As he proceeded down the roadway, a 2016 BMW was entering the road from a private driveway and collided with the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as Van Crocker, was severely hurt. He was rushed to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he died from his injuries later in the evening. At this time, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
