Fatal Car Accidents in South Carolina
Fatal accidents are reported every day in our states. Annually, more than 1000 people die as a result of collisions on our roadways. Far too often, negligent and reckless actions contribute to these accidents taking place. Some of the most common factors in vehicle collisions across our state include:
- Poor road conditions: Accidents often occur due to broken roads, inadequate signs, and obstructions.
- Reckless driving: Rapidly switching lanes, tailgating, or aggressive driving endangers the lives of innocent people.
- Fatigue: Operating a vehicle while excessively tired increases the risk of drifting into another lane and colliding with another vehicle.
- Street racing: Racing on roads heightens the risk of serious collisions, as drivers may struggle to stop in time and lose control of their vehicles.
