Bartow Co., GA (April 2, 2024) – One has died as a result of a secondary collision that occurred in Bartow County on Monday, April 1. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 6:00 a.m.
According to official reports, a collision involving a police pursuit took place on Interstate 75. The incident blocked the northbound side of the roadway. While authorities were assisting at the scene, a secondary collision involving a Hyundai Genesis G 70 and a Toyota Corolla occurred on the northbound side of the interstate. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn. The driver of the Hyundai, who has not been identified to the public, was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. One person in the Toyota was injured and transported to an area hospital for medical care. The accident is under investigation.
