Laurens Co., SC (April 12, 2024) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that 36-year-old Amanda Power lost her life due to a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Laurens. The accident was reported to officials at around 3:00 p.m. on April 7.
According to official reports, a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in a collision on South Carolina Highway 76. The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to go off the side of the roadway near Professional Park Road. A passenger on the motorcycle, identified as Power, was severely hurt. She was subsequently pronounced deceased due to her injuries. No other injuries were reported in the crash. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
