Macon, GA (April 13, 2024) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that James Collins lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred overnight on Thursday, April 11.
According to official reports, Collins was walking near the intersection of Irwinton Road and Hitchcock Road during the evening hours. For reasons unknown, he was struck by a vehicle. Collins was severely injured in the accident. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced deceased from his injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
