Lincoln Co., NC (April 18, 2024) – A fatal fire incident reported in Lincoln County on Wednesday claimed the lives of two adults and one child. The Lincoln County firefighters and emergency officials were called to the scene of the incident at around 2:45 a.m. on April 17.
Official reports indicate that a fire broke out inside of a home located in the 1600 block of Cloudburst Circle. Authorities arrived at the scene and located heavy flames engulfing the structure. Firefighters immediately went to work battling the blaze. Firefighters were able to take control of the situation within 20 minutes. Upon entering the home, three individuals were located with severe injuries. The victims, identified as two adults and one child, ultimately passed away as a result of the injuries they suffered. A firefighter sustained minor injuries during the incident. At this time, the cause of the fire is being investigated.
