Conway, SC (April 24, 2024) – The Horry County coroner’s office confirmed that 24-year-old Jamil Kelly lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Tuesday, April 23.
According to official reports, at around 3:20 a.m., a tractor-trailer and one additional vehicle were involved in a collision on South United States Highway 701. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the road near Brickyard Place. The Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and extricated at least two people from their vehicles. One person involved in the accident, identified as Kelly, passed away as a result of the injuries suffered in the accident. The condition of the second victim is not known. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
