Greenville, SC (April 25, 2024) – The Greenville Police Department identified the victim who was killed in the pedestrian accident on Wednesday, April 24.
Reports from authorities indicate that just after 5:00 a.m., two pedestrians were struck in front of the Aldi store located on North Pleasantburg Drive near Worley Road. Both pedestrians sustained injuries due to the accident. Authorities identified one of the victims as 42-year-old Santees Cummings. He was pronounced deceased at the scene due to his injuries. The second victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. The vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene without stopping. At this time, the police are investigating.
