Quitman, GA (May 19, 2024) – The police have confirmed that 35-year-old Courtney Williams lost her life as a result of a fatal dog attack that occurred on Thursday, May 9.
According to official reports, Williams was waiting at a bus stop located on Webster Street in Quitman with at least one of her children. For unknown reasons, more than one dozen of her neighbor’s dogs ran over to her and began attacking her and her child. Williams was severely injured as a result of the incident. Despite medical efforts, she ended up passing away from her injuries. One of her children sustained injuries as a result of the attack and was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
